Windows of the Gospel

This picture window shows the sacrament of the
Holy Communion, and is located between the narthex and the sanctuary. "While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to His disciples,
saying, 'Take and eat; this is my body.' Then He took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them , saying,
'Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father's kingdom."
(Matthew 26:26-29)
"And as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death, until He comes."
(1 Corinthians 11:26)
"Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter Him, saying, 'I need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?' Jesus replied, 'Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.' Then John consented. As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on Him. And a voice from heaven said, 'This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.'"
(Matthew 3:13-17)
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
(Matthew 28:19-20)
This picture window shows the sacrament of the
Baptism, and is located between the narthex and the sanctuary.
This picture window shows the testament of the
Scriptures, and is located between the narthex and the sanctuary. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it."
(John 1:1-5)
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
(2 Timothy 3:16)
"Then John gave this testimony:
'I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on Him. I would not have know Him, except that the One who sent me to baptize with water told me,
'The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is He who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.'
I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God.'"
(John 1:32-34)
"But you will receive power after the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
(Acts 1:8)
This picture window shows the coming of the Holy Spirit
with power, and is located between the narthex and the sanctuary.
